Describe Yourself:An Electronic Engineering major with a minor in English, Randy Roberts has written poems for fifty years. His interest in poetry has been re-kindled since a heart attack and retirement. Now an award winning poet, 'poetrandy' was editor and publisher of a high tech magazine for four years then took it to the internet. 'poetrandy' has read his poetry in Rancho Mirage, Tehachapi, Bakersfield, CA and on a Royal Caribbean Mexico cruise. His poetry has been featured on a number of Websites. More of his poems are available on several Internet sites. Randy's poetry is now being published in the Bear Valley Springs, California "Cub." He is now reading his poetry in Southern California, entering poetry contests and preparing his next book.

Aman V., Jun 9, 2009, 1:14PM EDTHI Dad, how've you been? I haven't been a good friend, not writing, not sending enough healing, but you've always been in my thoughts and prayers.
I regularly get to hear about your progress from Jenny , and I'm so thrilled that the latest about your condition is so upbeat. From the word go, I've had this gut feeling that you'll beat the damn thing at its own game, and come out of this trial fighting fit!
I promise I'll send you regular healing again, soon, okay Dad? I've been down with heatstroke for nearly three weeks now, and even at the best of times healing can be draining. I feel I'm getting back to my normal manic fitness, and that means you have to watch out for those Energy-Tornadoes from me soon! Hey, we have our very own ET's here, what?!!! hahahah
Hope you have been writing with your usual passion and fervour, and getting to meet other writers and poets - that itself can light you up from deep inside, isn't it!
